Self Defence

Aikido is a martial art and as such has a self defence application. However, it is fair to say that it takes a period of time to become proficient at the techniques and to become confident enough to use them in a practical situation. Specific Self Defence courses can be arranged which focus on the practical application of technique and use simple yet effective principles based upon aikido. This course will enable the student to develop the skills to be able to apply the techniques in practical situations and requires about 6 hours of dedicated training.

If you are interested in participating in a self defence course either as an individual or as a group please call for more information.

Self Defence Course Saturday 20 February 2010 11am to 2pm
